1. PinSaver does not host a media library
PinSaver does not upload, store or catalogue Pinterest videos and images. When someone pastes a public Pin link, the server reads that public page and streams the file to that person's browser. There is no gallery to delete a file from. What we can do is stop the tool from fetching a specific Pin id, and we will do that when we receive a proper notice.
2. How to send a notice
Email dmca@pinsaver.download with:
- Your name and a way to reach you (email and, if you have one, a phone number).
- The work you own, described well enough for us to recognise it, and the Pin URL or Pin id where it appears. A screenshot helps.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, the owner's agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
A mailing address for the designated agent will be published here before the site takes production traffic. Until then, email is the working contact, and postal notices can be requested at the same address. Incomplete notices are answered with what is missing. We do not act on a demand that has no Pin URL.
3. What we do next
For a complete notice, we add the Pin id to a blocklist. Further resolve requests for that id return a removal message instead of media. We aim to do this promptly. We may also write back to confirm. Because we do not store the file, there is nothing else to take down on our servers.
4. Counter-notice
If you believe a Pin was blocked by mistake, email dmca@pinsaver.download with the Pin URL, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that the block was a mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts that apply. We will forward a complete counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. The block stays in place until that process says otherwise. This paragraph describes a process. It is not a promise about a particular country's statute.
5. Repeat reports and blocking
Pin ids that are the subject of a valid notice stay blocked. If the same destination is reported repeatedly, or if a network address is clearly using the tool to hammer copyrighted Pins after a warning, we may refuse further requests from that address. We also keep the right to block a Pin that is being abused even before a formal notice, when the problem is obvious.
6. False claims
A notice sent in bad faith can have legal consequences for the sender. Only write if you are the owner or their agent, and only about work you actually control. We may ignore a notice that is abusive, incomplete after a reminder, or aimed at something we do not have.
General questions that are not copyright notices go to hello@pinsaver.download or the contact form.
