Save a public Pinterest story without a screen recording
On Pinterest, a story and an Idea Pin are the same kind of post: several pages, sometimes a mix of video and stills, played in order. The app keeps that sequence inside the feed. PinSaver reads the public Pin and lists each page it can see, so you can keep the files offline.
Paste the Pin link, including a pin.it short link. A board URL is not a story. Open the story itself and copy that address. Page one stays item one. Download all starts the files one after another. There is no zip, because a zip would mean holding the media on the server.
Video pages keep the MP4 Pinterest published, with the soundtrack that was uploaded. Image pages keep their picture. PinSaver does not stitch the pages into a new movie and does not re-encode them. If a page is missing, it was not on the public Pin the tool could read.
Private stories stay private. Saving the pages does not transfer copyright. If you show the files to anyone else, keep the creator's credit with them. The Idea Pin page describes the same download in more detail. This page is the one to use when you think of the post as a story.

Copy the Pin, not the board
A board address has no /pin/ id. Open one Pin and copy that link.

When a short link fails
pin.it addresses work when they point at one Pin. If one fails, open the Pin and copy the long URL.

iPhone saves to Files first
After the download, use Safari’s Downloads icon, then Share, then Save Video or Save Image.

Private stays private
A logged-out window is the test. If the Pin does not open there, PinSaver cannot fetch it.

If the upload is small, the choices stay small. Nothing is upscaled and labeled 4K.
