The published image
A public Pin's photo, at the sizes that Pin exposes.
Profile pages are not scraped. If the photo is a public Pin, paste that Pin link and save the image.
PinSaver is not affiliated with Pinterest. By using it you accept our Terms · Privacy Policy.
A profile URL is not the picture file.
Open the image as its own Pin. Copy that link, not the profile address.

A Pinterest profile address looks like pinterest.com/username. That page is a person, not a file. PinSaver does not read profile pages, does not collect avatars, and does not save someone's picture just because you pasted their name.
What it can do is save a public image Pin. If a photo was published as its own Pin, the link contains /pin/ and a number, or it is a pin.it short link. Paste that and the image downloader's rules apply: the original upload when it exists, then smaller widths, in the format that was posted.
This matters for a portrait, a logo or a reference still that someone pinned publicly. It is the wrong tool for copying an account's avatar, a private photo, or every image on a profile. Those stay where they are. The checker on the home page tells a profile URL apart from a Pin before you submit it.
Copyright still belongs to the photographer or the account that posted the Pin. A public photo is not a licence to reuse it as your own avatar, ad or product image. Ask before you republish. PinSaver does not keep the file after you download it.

The upload is preferred over the small feed preview.
JPG, PNG and WebP stay as they were posted.
Pasting a username or profile URL does not pull an avatar.
You do not log into Pinterest through this site.
Private photos and profile pages are turned away.
A straight comparison
Three ways people try to keep a Pin. Only the differences that are actually true.
| PinSaver | A screenshot | Another app | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you keep | The file that was published | A picture of the screen | Depends on that app |
| Sound on a video | Kept when the upload has it | Lost | Varies |
| Quality you can read | Width, height, and format before you save | Whatever your screen is | Often unlabeled |
| Account | None | You are already in Pinterest | Often required |
| A whole board | Not offered. Open one Pin. | One screen at a time | Some claim it. We do not. |
| Private Pins | Not available | Only if you can already open them | Usually the same limit |
A screenshot is a photo of the Pinterest screen. “Another app” means a typical installed downloader, not a review of one product.
If something fails
01
A board address has no /pin/ id. Open one Pin and copy that link.
02
pin.it addresses work when they point at one Pin. If one fails, open the Pin and copy the long URL.
03
After the download, use Safari’s Downloads icon, then Share, then Save Video or Save Image.
04
A logged-out window is the test. If the Pin does not open there, PinSaver cannot fetch it.
05
If the upload is small, the choices stay small. Nothing is upscaled and labeled 4K.
No board scraping and no profile downloads. You paste a link you can already open.
The page works in the browser. There is no extension and no Pinterest login.
Media is streamed for your download and is not stored as a library.
