PinSaver can only work with the address of one Pin. The address you want contains /pin/ and a long number, or it is a short pin.it link. A board address does not.
In the Pinterest app
Open the Pin so it fills the screen. Tap the share icon, or the three dots. Choose Copy link. Paste it into a note for a second and read it. A good link looks like https://www.pinterest.com/pin/255016397643256616/ or https://pin.it/AbC123. Some links add a slug in front of the number, such as /pin/skillet-chicken--255016397643256616/. That is still one Pin, and it is fine to paste.
If the address looks like pinterest.com/yourname/dinner-ideas, you copied a board. Go into the board, open one Pin, and copy again.
On the website
Open the Pin in the browser. The address bar already holds the Pin URL. Copy that. You can also use the share button on the page and choose copy link. Either one works. Tracking parameters after the ? can be left in. PinSaver strips them.
Short links
pin.it links are what the share sheet often gives you. They redirect to the full Pin. They also expire or get mangled if you copy extra words around them. If a short link fails, open the Pin and copy the long URL instead. The long form is the one to keep.
What not to paste
Profile pages, search results, and the home feed do not point at a single file. PinSaver will say so, rather than guessing. Open the Pin you actually want.
Once the link is on your clipboard, the downloader has a Paste button that reads it, and the how-to guide covers what happens on iPhone after the file arrives.
